Chatting W/ PTs, Rugby Heartbreak, CrossFit, WIT and Becoming a Gym/Business Owner W/ Ben Chips
Welcome back to Chat Sh*t Get Fit, Chatting W/ PTs. This week we chat with former semi-pro rugby player and ex London City trader Ben Chips. We hear how he rose in the rugby ranks to then having to leave it all behind for the sake of his health. He now trains/competes in CrossFit and we explore how they came about and how he's doing including getting involved with the widely known WIT
Before we get into his story we do of course tackle his top 3 gym pet peeves which is a lot of fun. We look at the usage of Nike Pro undershorts (Savile Shorts), the "back in my day" crew and those who waffle and try to relate once you mention you're a PT but don't want to take action.
Ben also tells us about his new business venture Stable where they hope to build a great fitness community in their brand new "barn" down in Surrey, England. It all sounds very exciting and we're looking forward to hopefully visiting the Stable Fit Barn once it's up and running!
