Army PT is Sh*t?, Mindset Training, Soft Tissue Therapy & Tom Has A New Cat W/ Jase Glazebrook

Welcome back to Chat Sh*t Get Fit Chatting W/ PTs where this week we sit down and chat to British Army Royal Engineer Officer Jase Glazebrook as he talks us through his very military centred gym pet peeves, his journey into the industry from starting "Be Grounded" to becoming a mindset coach at Mindset RX'd. We also dig into what he thinks of soft tissue therapy due to him being a level 5 therapist and hit him with some secret questions one of which will never hear the light of day! Jase is a serving member of the British Army and fitness has been a key part of his life for many years. He has trained soldiers in the most demanding conditions in a range of environments around the world. He particularly enjoys participating in Crossfit and British Army Warrior Fitness as well as lots of outdoor activities such as surfing and snowboarding. From this, he decided he wanted to offer more when it came to rehabilitating athletes. A natural progression was to be able to support his athletes through soft tissue therapy and formal mindset training. These ventures have led him to coach functional athletes with Mindset Rx'd and support the recovery of athletes as a therapist. This has taken him around the UK supporting athletes individually and at large scale events such as the London Marathon. ​Jase has extensive experience and qualifications in a range of diverse areas including:

  • GP exercise referral and obesity and diabetes management

  • Level 4 PT

  • Strength and Conditioning Coaching

  • Mindset and Life Coaching

  • Crossfit Level 1 Trainer

  • British Weightlifting Level 1 Coach (currently working towards Level 2)

  • Level 5 Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist

  • Outdoor Exercise Instructor

  • Spin Instructor
