Welcome back to Chat Sh*t Get Fit Recovery. This week we sit down with Jonny who has been on quite the journey. He is a soldier in the British Army and was only 23 when he suffered a stroke. A young fit healthy soldier and having a stroke just don't seem to add up. Regardless of what everyone was telling him and all the things that happened to him during his rehabilitation, he powered on through pure mental grit and determination and got involved in some pretty mad physical challenges/competitions.

 

Here's what he's done. We are just as shocked as you!

04/12/16. Sarum winter throwdown

01/01/18. Marathon row

19/07/18. Wild west CrossFit competition

04/08/18. English Channel crossing attempt (Hospital readmission)

02/09/18. Stonehenge CrossFit competition 

28/01/19. First means everything quals

27/03/19. BAWF (3RD)

05/05/19. Half marathon run

04/07/19. Stonehenge CrossFit competition (1st)

The month of February 2020. 1000 miles on watt bike equivalent of 34.4 miles per day

The month of march -  Half marathon row every week

30/08/2020. Half ironman style event.. 13 miles run into 1.2 miles swim into a 25.8-mile bike ride
