Welcome back to Chat Sh*t Get Fit Recovery. This week we take a look brief look at kinesiology & applied kinesiology (Banana testing as Bill calls it) and then take a deep dive into the magic tape known as Kinesio tape. There is a whopping 1100+ studies on this tape on PubMed so plenty to look at. The problem is the lack of quality. We've done our best to find the best quality data we can to ensure you aren't being led astray. We want you to think of this statement. "Marketing over medicine". This stuff has been around since the 70s yet only became mainstream after exposure at the 2012 London Olympics. If it was so amazing why did it take so long to appear? Let's find out.
As mentioned at the start of the podcast the video footage of the intro is certainly worth watching. Head over to our YouTube Linked Here to subscribe and get the full context to the madness that sometimes ensues.
